Licensing & Sales Tax

Business License

A Glendale Business License is required for any person or business with a physical business location in Glendale city limits. A separate business license is needed for all separate locations in Glendale except commercial rentals. PO Box or PMB addresses are not physical locations and will not be accepted.

The initial license fee is $25 and is required to be renewed every year. The annual renewal fee is $25.

Sales Tax

Effective January 1, 2017
The Arizona Department of Revenue is the sole administration of the Transaction Privilege (Sales) and Use Tax for all State, County and Municipal taxing jurisdictions.

Prior to January 1, 2017
The City of Glendale is authorized to collect any and all transaction sales and use tax collected for sales within the city's jurisdiction.
